There are all sorts of service to be done but always for the same Lord.” Corinthians 12:5

We all have our talents and gifts from God and our parish community relies heavily on each and every parishioner who is ready and willing to give of their time and talent in serving Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Depending on the amount of time you can give, there are many ways to serve your community.

Some examples include:

For a number of these activities, where you are with the young, elderly or vulnerable people, you may be required to obtain a Volunteer Blue Card or obtain a Police Check. If this is required you will be advised by the Parish Office, and all costs will be met by the parish.

Volunteers play a very important role in our parish life. To ensure best practice in the care and concern for those giving of their time and talents the following policies apply:

The Parish Office‘s role is to support Father, and the various volunteers and parishioners within the parish to carry out the ministries of the parish. The following gives you a little more information about the office and the staff on hand to assist you in your ministry:

The following are forms which may be required to be completed depending on the type of volunteer work you wish to perform.

When a parishioner wishes to volunteer:

  • Volunteer Pack (PDF) consisting of Data Form, Code of Ethical Behaviour and Confidentiality Agreement.
